1. Does Slimwave hurt?

Slimwave does not hurt and it will not cause you pain. It is a non-invasive treatment that may feel relaxing to some people.

 

 2. What does a session of Slimwave feel like?

During a Slimwave session you will feel a tingling sensation at the start of the treatment, then you will feel contraction of the targeted muscles. 

 

3. How often should I come for a Slimwave treatment?

For best results, it is recommended to schedule 10 sessions, twice a week minimum. 

 

4. How long before an event should I book a spray tan?

It is best to complete your spray tan 2 days before any event.

 

5. How long should I wait to shower after a spray tan?

Solutions need 8 to 12 hours to fully develop. We recommend waiting the full 12 hours before your first shower after the spray tan to achieve a better result.

 

6. How often should I get a facial done? 

Once per month is the ideal frame time to assure that your skin is kept healthy and glowing. 

 

7. How long will my teeth whitening results last? 

Teeth whitening results are instant and last between 6 to 12 months. 

 

8. How often will I need to do dermaplaning? 

The life cycle of vellus hair (peach fuzz) is around 4-6 weeks. If you choose to not continue dermaplaning, the hair will grow back and return to the same state it was prior to dermaplaning. 

 

9. Will my hair grow back thicker after dermaplaning? 

No, this is a myth. In reality, dermaplaning cannot change the structure of hair growth. Hair type and density are determined depending on factors such as body location, age, gender and hormones and removing the hair from the epidermis cannot change these factors. 

 

 10. How long will my lash lift & tint last? 

A lash lift and tint will last between 6 to 8 weeks. It is suggested to wait a minimum of 6 weeks before booking your next appointment.
